@02:31Hey man, I wish I could have used fractals for this project.. The shapes and surface details are all actually created starting with dynamic objects blended as metaballs and video textures mapped spherically to the final shape, the video texture is made in after effects and reacts to the audio, there are separate video textures for displacement and colour and transparency

Yeah I was inspired by demo scene, but only in terms of motivation, I don't have any programming knowledge.. I have seen a very limited amount of demos as well.. I can upload a very detailed documentation of this project since I was obliged to for my final year project.. (100mb pdf) I'll try dig it up and upload it to the behance page.
Demos or not, your work is ground breaking. The retro feeling music with low heavy basses created extraordinary moods. I watched it again before response this to you.
Extremely well done.
I only get good look at the coding mess with 4kb, 64kb and 96kb for only 2 years. Only been to Function and Assembly once, as a musician/coder. Still a fresh newbie in demos. Lol only 3 intro/musicdisk so far on Pouet...
Thanks a lot man, you can dl the documentation here [link] it covers some research and other animations I did because its just the pdf I handed in for the project. you can see the other videos I mentioned in it here [link] or on vimeo
I wouldn't say my work is ground breaking though. I think it could be much more refined if I was working with a team of professionals. I just want to try and establish a reputation as a cinematographer / choreographer and let professionals take care of the technical payload.. This dream is a long way off for now though, so I have to try and overcome technical obstacles myself
The red-planet demo crashed on open, not sure why, maybe because im on 64 bit or something to do with my gfx card.. The face text one worked though, its crazy the kind of stuff you can cram into a tiny file, nice work!
And your creations too!
