This is technically my first music video.
I spent a very long time working on this, i couldnt give a total render time because of all the different programs i used.
The main aim for this was to get to grips with different kinds of synchronisation, i tried all sorts. All in my spare time, since i havent started working yet.
# For the first part, i used a technique called filmstrip editing, where i edited all the frames in photoshop. then After Effects was heavily involved.
# The second part is mainly chopping and editing in Premiere, the interface is excellent on there, you can really enlarge the waveform to see where youre going.
# The final part was a long cut in cinema 4d where i edited movement and keyframes from inside c4d along the waveform. I also used an after effects script to import waveform data to keyframes for attributes in c4d.
# Finally, i shouldnt need to say, I used After Effects for post production on every stage, its been a great learning experience, though a tedious one
Its quite rough, but im a one man team and i could easily see myself having spent infinate time on this, i had to call it quits at some point.
I used fruity loops to create all the music from scratch.
