Fibre-optic lights! At least this looks like it. Flying across the landscape of a barren planet... Nice work sir. :)

Pfft... limited to 2.5 gb ram... If only you knew what I'm still working with after all these years.

This looks awesome, man. Old school. Like neon tubes on acid.

thanks man, what are you working with? Your renders must take ages...
C4d just doesn't let me perform the render at all if the scene is too complex.. it says "not enough ram" or it just turns my machine off during the night.

I've got a 1.7 ghz Pentium 4 with 2 gigs of ram.

Vray has a setting that lets you render directly to a file without showing the render on the screen while it's in progress. Using that, I can render super complex scenes at very high resolutions with no problems, it just takes a long time. I just finished rendering a scene with over a million polys at 3000x4500. It took about 50 hours to render.

That is amazing, I didn't know V-ray could do that... Is it the eternal combustion image? I've got to try it out when I get my solid state drive and 64 bit os.. then I can use all of my ram : D

I'm sure you'll crank out some epic shit once you get your new system together. I like what you've been doing with video.

I really need to build a new system. If only I could stop spending all of my money on guns and survival gear for the impending zombie apocalypse, I could afford a new computer.
